While the UK may have not appreciated The Outfield, the US certainly sure did. And the US is a bigger market than the UK. :D. I'd say they actually did pretty well. And I still like to listen to that Play Deep album a lot.

Love Tony Lewis’ rolling bass in this track. Saw you live and “unplugged” at the 1992 Summer Jam in Albany, NY. Thank you for the music. You touched the world with it.

Remember driving through Orlando FL in a '78 Transam in the 80s; blasting this on cassette with my girlfriend - loved that album!. Thank you to everyone in the Outfield; a great, under-appreciated band, should be in the HOF for their influence on 80s power pop.

Terrible banda. Mataría volver el tiempo atrás y vivir esa época. Aguante The Outfield.
@vandelbasil58985 жыл бұрын
@rosrmn96595 жыл бұрын
@anapazos67544 жыл бұрын
Amigo, me paso exactamente igual que a ti, pero a mi me gustaba escuchar "All the love in the world" y después pase a "No surrender".

The one thing my grandkids will never get to experience; the joy of buying an actual album and finding that the songs that never made to the radio waves were actually pretty damn good! The Outfield had a sound all their own. They still give me that same sensation 40 years later.

Yea just the other day played the entire play deep list...I forgot all the songs I knew from them. And the radio wears out their song " your love" was good to hear their other songs they definitely hit the bricks with a fresh sound that was a relief from the Thompson twins lol
