Eda's VA is Wendy Malick - she's basically the female equivalent of Patrick Warburton - someone who uses the exact same voice for every single role, and is able to get away with it because she's that good at that one voice xD

So glad your checking out owl house! Just a few things I want to mention about it. 1. Alex Hirsch does voice King. Everyone jokes it's just Bill cipher without the effects. He also voices Hooty. (yes, that is the same guy who voices Stan. It's hard to believe.) 2. The main writer of the show is Dana Terrace, who's dating Alex Hirsch. So it fits she has a bit of that Hirsch touch. 3. There's a secret message in the episode titles. I still wouldn't recommend reading ahead though. Just look out for that. 4. Now that you've started watching this, everyone's going to be recommending Amphibia next. Amphibia and the owl house are like sister series and it's also made by one of the main writers of Gravity falls. Maybe put that on your "to watch" list. Looking forward to more! :)

Reaction videos get a lot of flack, and a lot of people don't really get the appeal of watching them. But I think the enjoyable thing about them is that it's very similar to the experience of showing something you love to other people. Getting to see someone else experience something you love, being able to share it with someone, is something we all need once in a while.

Very excited for this series. To be honest, with its most recent episode, The Owl House might have even surpassed Gravity Falls (which has been my favorite show for over 5 years) for me. Just like Gravity Falls, this show keeps its mysteries and overall plot kinda subtle in season 1 and then goes absolutely crazy with it in season 2 so can't wait to see you get there! Also this episode is among most people's least favorite episodes so if you liked this episode, you'll probably like the show a lot because it just doesn't stop getting better and better after this point Last but not least the animation in this episode might not be on par with some of Gravity Falls' episodes but trust me, there are some INSANE scenes coming

I heard about Owl House for awhile and I finally decided to watch it last summer. I was shocked how much I enjoyed it and continue to enjoy it. I think the show excels at avoiding cliches and avoiding one-note characters. It's really refreshing and I really hope you end up liking it as well.

It's an awesome show that filled the hole in my heart left by Gravity Falls. It's quite similar in the way the overarching plot is slowly revealed, and the characters are great. As others have said, it takes some time to kick off, but once the second season starts it easily joins the greats.

The owl house is such a fun and inspiring show. The mystery and zany elements tie so well with the self discovery and acceptance element. But the details are where it's at. My suggestion is to write down your thoughts, questions, and theories about the show. All the questions, and i mean all) you have will be answered either right in your face or in between the lines way.

No spoilers! Just to note (as you probably know already): the voice of King, and Hooty, is Alex Hirsch from GF (Stan, Soos, McGucket, Bill). Dana Terrace, who created this show, was a storyboarder and sometimes animator for S2 of GF. (There are some other GF alums working on Owl House, like Emmy Cicierega, and Matt Chapman.) Finally, that character with the orange hair that's basically just a head with a huge nose? That design is based on the little sprite design that Dana Terrace uses for herself a lot in sketches and doodles. I wouldn't say the show's design is her avatar, but it's definitely meant to be a reference that she put in there to refer to herself.

Well, they share the same human realm, the Boiling Isles of The Owl House and the land of Amphibia are alternate dimensions in the same multiverse. And year, The Owl House is a great show. It takes background easter eggs to a whole new level. Its even extremely relevant for the plot and caused a ton of fan theories. I cant wait to see ur reaction to this at some point. "Is this real?" was one of many fan theories and we got to make several over time Season 1 Ep 10 was the point when the 1st season took a break for a few months Season 1 ep 16 was the 1st major episode of the season , a point when theory crafting really takes off season 2 ep 4 is the point when we get a new mystery season 2 ep 10 is when season 2 took a break giving us a long time to think about mysteries and when it comes back its just no stop hype we enter what I call "That Answer just raises more questions" mode and we start getting answers combined with new mysteries rapid fire so if you craft theories get your thoughts out between those numbers

I have to say I love Gravity Falls and thought it couldn´t get any better. Then I watched The Owl House and the first few episodes were pretty good but just there to set the scene and then it blew my mind!!! Of cours there are filler episodes, but the plot is so cool and when you like shows that are even darker than some stuff from GF, you´ll love this show. It´s incredible what they get away with on Disney.

The animation gets so much better, the first two episodes are fairly basic, but episode 3 on it really hits it's stride. Lore will start to make sense a few more episodes after that. There will be more horror. Basically as much as they can get away with in a children's show. Also, it's pronounced "looz" , rhymes with loose, but I'm sure you've gotten a lot of comments about that haha

I'm happy to see you react to this! :D I like this show a lot (the second season especially picks up), even though it isn't quite on the level of Gravity Falls for me personally, it's still good. Though I cannot pass full judgement on it yet as it's still airing and, for me, the ending of a show can have a huge impact. If the show is good, but the ending really misses its mark, it kind of drags the whole thing down for me. For now, it doesn't look like Owl House is going to do that. On the contrary, the latest episode was incredible, so fingers crossed. Anyway, looking forward to see more :)

Then this came to my recommended, and I know I absolutely had to follow your reactions to this show. I have a recommendation. Craig of the Creek. It might seem childish but with 3 seasons it has some good over arching story. Same would go for The owl house. It takes a few episodes to get into the story but over arching story is great
