The Collector didn't have a problem with Lilith until she said "Stay away from my nephew!". Belos called Hunter his "nephew" and treated him extremely poorly. This is the only representation of that kind of relationship The Collector has, so it makes sense that he sees the term as a bad thing and wants to protect King.

Not that many people understand those with mentalities like this or with sexualities different than what most are accustomed to, but people who undergo those traits shouldn’t feel scared. I COULD TALK ABOUT THIS EPISODE FOR HOURS OMG- First of all- love the intro for this episode. I also love Raine's reaction to Eda's Harpy form, that i was theorizing ever since seeing the trailer. RAEDA FOREVER I also love Stringbean, she is adorable, and O don't see enough people talking about her. ALSO HUNTLOW YAY Luz's reaction to seeing Kikimora again was spot-on lol. I also loved the collector in this episode- the last few frames he was in were terrifying ngl- the expressions and the lighting- so anyways huntlow is pretty much canon now :D Ngl i was surprised Disney let some of the things into the episode- the bloody dagger and below legit melting away being some of them- but I think it makes the episode just a little bit more interesting if that makes sense? It adds a subtle nod to a slightly darker side to the show uhhh i was gonna say some other things but i forget oh the scene in the detention pit with hunter and willow? amazing. I feel like it was just so well done- and eda and lilith's new looks are amazing. I gotta say, lilith's new look surprised me when i first saw the trailer for the episode but it grew on me and the fact that hunter immediately went to summon his staff at 6:47 and then realized flapjack was gone- so heartbreaking

I didn't notice it the first time (specifically with Eda), but Eda and Lilith have been cleverly recreating the potions they take for the curse by using their own hair. Perhaps the concoctions they usually have must contain an ingredient from the Owl Beast itself, which is like converting the poison into an antidote. Although it makes me wonder now how and where they were getting the ingredients necessary to help Eda for so long. (And by they I mean Morton lol).

Love the implication that the collectors already have burnt and reset the planet in the past. They torched the place so fucking hard that all titans (who are the most powerful beings on the planet) DIED, had life evolve on their bodies for what must have been *millions of years* and the water is STILL FUCKING BOILING. Something that Luz' Palisman reminds me of is a certain power system from another series, where a spirit b3comes a God's partner and weapon (and no, not Soul Eater). According to their lore if a spirit takes the form of an object or weapon that is of a different era (such as a modern earring or western style clothing) the compatibility between the god and spirit is strong. Perhaps Stringbean's rare and unique form denotes a similar compatibility to Luz, which is really cool, and proves she is worthy to live in the Demon Realm.

In the 1600’s Phillip had a brother named Caleb and they both were into Witch-hunting, soon Caleb found a real Witch in which he ended up falling in love with and I believe eventually both snuck into the Demon Realm, eventually more stuff happened and Phillip ended up killing Caleb and got stuck in the Demon Realm, he was still focused on Witch Hunting and possibly believed killing a whole world of them would make him a hero to humankind. To have someone to partner with him in the Demon Realm, he created a clone of his brother Caleb called a Grimwalker, and each time a clone would betray him, he would kill that clone and make another, every one of those clones was a Golden Guard. The info is probably not 100% accurate but gives a basis as to what occurred.

I was kind of wishing that Kikimora could’ve been more of a ally after everything that happened, it’s shame that wasn’t the case in this Episode, but there could still be a chance for it in Episode 3, Well, at least it seems like Boscha is going to have something good going for her, i hope we get to see at least a little bit of how that goes Next Episode. I really hope things doesn’t go too bad for The Collector, I think it would just be boring for him to just be treated as a full-on Villain. Anyway, interesting Palisman, I will look forward to see how it all plays out, what would you like to happen in the Next Episode?

Id like to point out, at 6:42 when Hunter is pacing and hears a noise. He goes to grab his staff, only to realize, Flapjack is gone. :( Another point i wanna make is that in the previous episode, Hunter had cut his hair to be his own person. But when Belos possessed him, he FORCED Hunter to regrow his hair, which is one of the most FUCKED UP things in TOH. We love out baby Hunter, he deserves so much better☹️☹️☹️
