I had an interesting fan fiction idea. What if a new protagonist was introduced into the story like a girl that thinks reading is boring but the pagemaster sends her into the library and she befriends 3 new books named Science fiction(as a robot), Mystery(as Sherlock Holmes) and Romance(as Juliet) and they travel through the stories War of the worlds, Murder on the orient express, and Romeo and Juliet

Maybe pirate treasure maps were real to some degree, not the fancy ones from fiction but more like this, one particular place only the captain alone knew about. If any buccaneer ever had to bury their treasure, it meant they were in trouble and had been found out so the only logical thing to do was put the gold somewhere for a while til the heat was off them and then be able to retrieve it once they were in the clear.
