I love this man , I used to wear my great grandfather s bowlhat to celebrate Digbys courage ( not the umbrella ) I didnt want anybody to mistake me for an English man, but the hat and my own military jacket , because even women in their lives fight a battle. More courages in many ways , because we struggle to keep our family members alive and in my case that was an uphill battle he gave me inspiration .

This one's an entirely new eye opener because I had seen a movie that was about operation market garden in which a British officer was running a bowler hat and a umbrella I believe the British officer you have mentioned was the one from the movie I had seen but overall it's incredible of an impact he had on his soldiers. I legit don't know what is crazier. On the one hand, you have a man using medieval weaponry of which requires you to either be really good with a bow and pearce through the armor or close enough to your enemy to use your sword. On the other hand, you have a man that uses an umbrella and a pistol, so he is still a threat from about 50 meters away, but looks like an idiot (to the Germans) running around with an umbrella and swinging it at people.

howard baxter I think the Umbrella is crazier Sure medieval is very useless against their tech they had but at least it was seen as to be more effective at combat than an Umbrella, plus the fact that he could hide his pistol so that the enemies would think he was stupid & underestimate him.
