Accept that what you like to wear doesn't give you permission to slut shame. It also is used in response to people telling vintage dressers they were born in the wrong era, which can be really messed up especially if said to a person of color, woman, any queer person, or just decent people in general.

But until a few decades ago and still in this day in most places, 99% of all people were born as farmers in rinkydink viallge in the middle of nowhere, working from when they are a child until the keel over with fifty, if they even get that old. Edit: I get always annoyed, when people say, they want to be born in the middle ages, as if it's a specific period. It is a span of roughly 1000 years! It’s not even important but it kills me that all of these people keep saying “the medieval period”. Like… that’s a span of time generally agreed to last from the fall of the Roman Empire to the beginning of the Renaissance, without even specifying a country. That’s 1000 YEARS. Like, when in the Medieval period? In pre-Christian Scandinavia? Pre 10th century mainland Europe where women had more equal rights? During the Black Death in Venice? In a monastery in 12th century France? SPECIFY DAMNIT, SPECIFY! But I know none of these people know shit about history otherwise they wouldn’t be saying any of this.

I find several medieval ages vey interting, but also, even the better off people didnt live very long and most people, ere not previoledged, youhate it today, then forget back then. Ok thats overstated, ther wer ust far less rights, farmr for example, were more agnowledged, but life was harder with less medicine and as much as they were not depüressed all the time, its usually better now. Also imagine describing yourself as socialist but hat comminism, i understand crittivism, but hate as much as capitalism?! Not saying, things need to be better, but thre is better life quality than medieval ages and i think 60s still. BTW that guy could still in a monastry. He even can get a wife from an eastern europe or elsewhere country if he want, really. he still can if he really wants.
