The Penguin is the BEST season Premiers I've seen all year and in awhile. Phenomenal hour of television. The story is fantastic and intense. Matt reeves is a master of his craft. Oh and Collin Farrel and Criston Milioti EMMY Frontrunners‼️ Bravo HBO 👏 🔥

One of the fascinating things about this version of Oz is that he's lonely... and it makes it inherently sad, which I was not expecting. Quality of this first episode leaves me no doubt that the season is going to be one of my favourite watches of the year.

The credence to John's Robin theory is that Victor was caught stealing the hub caps from Oz's car and that Oz nearly hit him with a crowbar which are both Jason Tood references

Idk if I fully agree with Vic turning into Robin, but Vic trying to steal Oz’s tires did make me think of Jason Todd trying to steal the wheel from the Batmobile. There could be something….

Craig Zobel is incredibly legit as a television director. His two episodes of The Leftovers are maybe the best episodes of the 21st century. At least top ten.

Yep, so far the first episode of _The Penguin_ is top notch HBO wit and quality. That said, I hope It doesn't suffer from an all too common awkward abrupt conclusion like so many 8 episode series arcs of late.

Although the diner episode is very interesting, I really love the two part in the same episode of Sandman following Death, followed by his friend released by Death as an experiment to amuse Dream, that episode is amazing! 😄⭐️

As someone who grew up watching & loving the animated Buzz Lightyear show, I really did not enjoy the Lightyear movie because it felt completely disjointed from what I thought was already pre-established lore from the animated series. Hated their interpretation of Zurg

Yeah the most we’ll get in terms of gay characters are Wades sister and her gf blink and you’ll miss it type characters (if that). Not expecting any black lead characters for a long while either.

I took the whole family to LightYear and nothing to do with the kiss it just was not a fun or good movie to watch again. I've only seen it once kids don't ask to watch it again. Nothing to do with the kiss but the choices of the story. Just a straight white boy here speaking🤷‍♂️

Yup the movie is just dull right down to the look of the film. Socks is putting in over time and he just can’t save the film. I think if it had been a more exciting story with a better color pallet it would’ve done much better.
