Yep. Reminds of the penguin comic that was part of the Jokers asylum stories. Where the penguin after selling his lover back into prostitution after she finds out how horrible he is goes off with some other woman just with him for the money. Sometimes it’s lonely being at the top 😔.

@@wojtekreliga3881 Given how much of a mess Gotham was after the movie, I think we can assume that Batman (who, by the end of the movie, is realizing that his focus needs to be hope and justice, not vengeance) was occupied with other problems in Gotham that we don't know about. And if Oz was really under the impression that nothing was in his way, then yes; he did forget.
