I also have a black SU-R1000 and a SL-G700. I must say that the streaming don´t work that well with Tidal on my SL-G700, so I have bougth a Wiim pro plus, connected by coax to R1000 and it sounds marvelous. I hope that you have a mk 2 on your SL-G700 and that it works better than mk 1?

I only use it as a sacd and cd player. The streaming function is annoying. It's the mk1. It sounds fantastic as a transport.
