I can seriously imagine it! The main character having to make a well thought out sneak strategy against a very strong opponent or army. Main character asking companions for their thoughts on it and when it come to Astarion he asks what they will do. If responding with something like "I'm not sure yet" he'll say the line, "Why don't you try to be as creative as you can...or are able to be?"

Theres something about niels voice that is unique. His voice and the way he talks is a mix of feminity but also noble man like with the passice aggressiveness. Maybe a scholar? Maybe a spoiled rich guy? Kinda around that zone. Picking him for astarian is a great choice.

very different vibes from Baldur's Gate but there is a bunch of silly videos of the Team Fortress "Scout" voice actor having fun with things, also "Connor" from Detroit Become Human had a hoot because he was also the visual model (almost like digital actor?) Absolute blast to see Neil enjoying Astarion. Another great laugh were the narrator outtakes.

Man I love that. It is common custom for VAs to never badmouth a role they played and act invested in the character. But it is very apparent that Neil Newbon had a lot of fun impersonating Astarion and loves to be his voice. Which also shows in how well he played that role and how much his lines are already memed.
