The recipe converted for anyone in the uk etc🇬🇧😋 315g Plain Flour 2 tsp Bicarbonate of Soda 1 tsp Salt 220g Butter 95g Granulated Sugar 95g Light Brown Sugar 2 eggs 1 tsp Vanilla Extract 340g/12oz Chocolate Chips * Mix all dry ingredients * Mix wet ingredients and add 1 egg at a time * Add the dry ingredients slowly * Add the chocolate chips. Fold them in * Use 2 tbsp of dough per cookie * Bake at 190c or Gas Mark 5. for 7 to 9 mins * Let them cool for 5 mins

*MAKE 3 DOZEN (36) COOKIES* 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour 2 teaspoons baking soda 1 teaspoon salt 2 sticks (16 tablespoons or 227 grams) of salted butter, room temperature 3/4 cup granulated sugar 3/4 cup light brown sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 2 large eggs 12 ounces semisweet chocolate chips Medium bowl Large bowl Whisker Electric Mixer Silicone Spatula cookie pan Instruction: Step 1: Mix Dry ingredients together w/ whisker - Flour, Baking soda Salt. Step 2: Cream together butter, sugar, and brown sugar, vanilla extract with electric mixer. Step 3: Add 2 full eggs one at a time in the butter mixture (add 1 egg, mix, add 2nd egg, then mix) Step 4: Add ingredients 1 at a time while mixing. Stop when all is used. Step 5: Add chocolate chips and then fold them. Step 6: Scoop 2 tablespoons and add to cookie pan (grease pan if don't have non-stick pan) Step 7: Heat oven to 375 degrees. Bake for 7-9 mins. (check them from time to time since its bake fast) Step 8: cool for 1 mins Step 9: Enjoy!

Cassidy Purdy yokay, I am a 62 year old retired pastry chef with over 30 years knowledge under my belt. Retired my own bakery 7 years ago due to health. With 2 published cookbooks I know exactly how it works. #1, I simply answered the author of the question with a thought not a definitive answer. #2, I never questioned her work ethics or abilities! You may be right about her not of ever seeing the published recipe on the back of every bag of chocolate chips, but hardly likely. That’s an argument for someone else! She seems to be a lovely girl don’t know, first time watching her and most likely my last. Nothing personal to her. I am of the old school (being old myself), and prefer a more professional demonstration. I’m sure many people like her approach, she’s just not my cup of tea. I do wish her much success as I do all professionals in their field...on a side note and addressing the original question, I personally did not give her a thumbs down, was just giving suggestions on why others did. My attempts came out amazing. Took 3 times with a light sprinkle more of salt and a small splash more of vanilla. I did mine for 9 1/2 second because they like a little more crisp. Her recipe is amazing. Salted butter made a lot of difference

It’s been a long time since I’ve watched this the first time, and when I came back across it, I decided I’d wanted to try my hand at baking them myself(for a coworker’s changing shift party). Well, I wanted to mention I accidentally messed up the ratio (2 and 1/3 cup flour instead of 2 and 1/2) and ended up browning half the butter(which was the only thing I’d planned to do to add a bit extra flavor). And even with those changes to the recipe, the cookies were a HIT. I made almost 6 dozen, brought 4.5 dozen to work, and left with nothing(I am SO HAPPY I left some at home for myself). There weren’t even but about a dozen people at the party and not everyone got cookies. This is all to say, I am so happy that I came across your videos like 5-6 years ago. Without them, I wouldn’t have gotten near that into baking. Thank you for your continued positivity to the Internet world.

As you grow older tho , you figure yourself out and you learn what matters to you and what not ... I am not saying that once you are "older" you are suddenly the most confident person on earth .. I am just saying that maybe after a few failed experiences with approval from your peers you might learn that each persons view of the world is different each persons experiences are different and the impact of these are different on different people .. you start to see the big picture but that only comes with experience, something that only older people should have cause if you are a child that is really mature for your age it usually means that something bad is going on .. children are supposed to be carefree and yes not sure for themselves until they start figuring it out at an older age

Review My cousins and I just made these tonight. We didn't have salted butter, so we used unsalted, and we used like 1/2-3/4 cup of chocolate chips since we don't know how to measure ounces, but no other changes were made. They are a hit and we all agree this is how we're making these from now on. They are sooo good. And we normally can't agree on chocolate chip cookies. 1 cousin likes them too soft in my opinion, the other cousin and I have more similar taste but still like our cookies slightly different from each other. We all loved these though. Thank you to the youtuber for sharing, I thought you were exaggerating at the beginning but these are the best chocolate chip cookies we've ever had.

OH. MY. GOD. Ro, I know I’m a little late, but I regret that. THESE ARE AMAZING. Chewy and crisp in all the right places, perfect with a glass of milk, and now a family favorite. For those looking for a review, these cookies were one of my most successful ones and I will definitely be returning to it. The end result didn't turn out sad and flat nor was it dry and clumped together, if you follow the recipe exactly, and it is quite an easy recipe for all bakers, you should be presented with a rewarding batch of cookies that really satisfies the homely soul. ( Instead of salted butter I used unsalted and just added more salt, this is just personal preference but when I used unsalted butter 1/2 tsp salt was enough )
