I have locs but I am watching this regardless…Also I just picked up the design essential mousse cause I was looking to pick up a replacement after I ran out of The Doux Mousse. I smelled it and immediately needed to pick it up😭 Also since you already use their products I highly recommend the inner sense hydrating cream conditioner, expensive but you don’t have to use a lot. If you need more just use it with water.

I have a genuine question! what do you consider your curl pattern to be? We seem to have similar hair, but in my area, there isn’t much knowledge about natural hair/curl patterns, and i think we share the same one I have no clue what it is!

Mine is a mix of "patterns" but porosity, density, and thickness determine a lot of how your hair looks more than anything. I'd say mine's 3b/3c but I have medium porosity, high density, and fine strands.

been waiting for thissss! two questions: does just using gel and mousse make your hair dry out faster in comparison to leave ins and creams(esp in summer), and do you know what your hair porosity is? thank you!

it’s more hydrated overall but will need to be washed again anywhere from 4-7 days. hair porosity is probably somewhere in the middle (takes in water easily but doesn’t loose it too quickly)

That Innersense Gel is top tier! After cycling through/resting new gels this year-Innersense might be #1 for me. I’m using the Doux 808 Base Gel right now which is good but it leaves a soft hold even when I top with gel. What dryer are looking to upgrade to-is it a Dyson?

I agree, Innersense is so good! I tried the Big Poppa from the Doux once but it was too flaky for me. I got the Shark SpeedStyle!
