This is a great video. I lost a lot of weight and put on solid muscle 7 years ago following a meal plan similar to this. My pasta was swapped out for rice. I ate russet potatoes. My chicken was baked without any oil only seasoning. Also Jasmine rice has an unusual smell for those new to it. Don't be alarmed or thinking it's bad. I ate natural peanut butter instead of candy bars and I took a protein shake post workout and if I was really sore I would take a shake before bed. Whey not casseine by the way. I am basically starting a new job that really has me laser focused on keeping my muscles replenished so this video is a phenomenal dietary refresher. Also please don't let my russet potato thing confuse you. Sweet potato is the way to go but I did not know this 7 years ago. Thanks for sharing! : )

November 2017 I started my weight gain diet to achieve my goals. It had no relation to this video, but I gained 30 lbs (not all muscle of course) from November 2017 to March 2018. I went from 120 to 150 lb. I was thin still, but lean. I suffered a minor hand fracture that put me out two weeks. I gained lower belly fat in that time, but I was still solid and somewhat lean. I started again November 2018 with a slightly different diet and gained 10 lb in 3 weeks. I stopped during the christmas holidays to reevaluate things and start fresh in 2019. I'm gonna do this diet. Like you, when people spoke about gains and such, I'd listen. I gained knowledge these past 10+ years of excersing, but now i'm putting it all to use. I will try to update my progress. I'm starting next week, so I have time to get the items and prep them. Great video

You are going to make some serious gains Akira. Here is another great one for you to look at and see which one you wanna do. They both are equally effective, but this one right here kzbin.info/www/bejne/p4qppoWcZ9CWb8k has less volume and is more micronutrient friendly. Keep Getting Them Gains.

Meal 1 - salad Meal 2 - beans, salad Meal 3 - meat, rice, salad Meal 4 - beans, salad Meal 5 - meat, rice, salad Tip use 2-3 boiled eggs in meal 1 to make the salad more interesting, i love chopped potatoes in plain salad taste really good.

With chicken put it in an over at 350'C for 1hr 30 mins with foil over it. After the time passes remove the foil and place the food in the stove uncovered for another 15mins at 350'C to brown the meat. That's how Caribbeans cook their meat. No thermometer needed. If you throw the chicken breast in a pot with water and add some vnegar for 15-30 mins it'll kill bacteria while stripping some of the chicken fat. Another Caribbean cooking technique. *Edit:* 350 degrees Fahrenheit not Celsius

Eat over maintence will make magic tricks to your body. Everyone have their own maintence calories so this is just guidance to make the meals but this cant work for everybody in a good way if your body needs more/less calories per day. Best way to start nutrition process is to find some online calculator that tells you some caloric number that you should start to eat and watch how your body reacts (one good calculator is iifym caloric calculator). After that you have to track your food to hit that caloric intake and look up if you are gaining or losing weight and make changes to your eating based on that.
