Good video explaining the importance of UVA and blue light. So many KZbin videos only suggest full spectrum from seed to flower, missing out on the benefits you are explaining!

Appreciate your comment! Yeah it really does make a world of difference when you understand the nuance

What was the Watt output of the bulb setup without the grow light? Great vid btw

So at the beginning of flowering stage to you put the light to max or 80% ? Because it’s going to be really hot in the tent if you max the light? Thanks in advance

This depends on this lights distance from the plant. If you have a quite powerful light, that has a lot of spread (for example I use the Mars Hydro Fc-3000 ( amzn.to/3Banw8W ) which has a huge spread and quite a bit of output. So, during pre flower I would keep it around 80% before moving it up slightly and Turing it up to 100% for flowering. hope this helps

Can i use the same/ identical setup you used for your tomato plants on my cannabis plants or do i have to switch it up to get the best results? Obviously i would need more bulbs but i wanted to know if it would be efficient It's legal to grow in my country, btw thanks for the video!

Go for it! I think the setup I mention would be great for growing cannabis.

Do I need light at all? I thought if light hits the plantit creates algae?.
@humblegrowth7 ай бұрын
If light hits a constantly wet surface it creates algae. Plants do need light.

Your content is grade A because you explain this so well that even a moron could😂😂 understand exactly what you're talking about I'm a little slow myself but I was under the impression that auto flowering weed all we need is 6 hour of light and it didn't matter what light source it was now I'm reading it needs 18 hours of light and 6 hours of darkness I thought this was for feminized photoperiod's anyone that knows anything about cannabis please give me some information I am a new to this and have no idea what I'm doing LOL 😆 😆😆😆 oh yeah I forgot to mention that I am growing and dirt in a planter any of you experts out there please give me some information

You should just make your own grow light brand and incorporate everything you are teaching.

Just buy a cheap mars hydro 600
@humblegrowth9 ай бұрын
for sure. But the video is about using a great, inexpensive led grow light like the mars hydro 600 then filling in the wavelength gaps with standard led bulbs. Like, turn the grow light gown to 25% for early growth and introduce a few blue LED bulbs to promote leafy compact growth until red light is required for budding. Full spectrum grow lights deliver the primary photon density within the red wavelengths. This is because the plants needs much more photon density at this time and red light is the most used wavelength for photosynthesis. By giving your plant so much red light early on, you could have bolting or massive stem elongation. This video is about the absolute best way! not, a "just get this" simple solution. If you are interested in taking lighting to the next level with all of your LEDs, this video is for you. If you just want to setup a full spectrum led grow light and call it a day, that is really great too. Let's just keep growing :)
