When Venat and the HIGHEEEER part of the song lined up in the credits I literally started weeping. What an amazing arc that was with probably my favorite RPG ending of all time. I cried for like 2h doing the last few quests in 6.0. I'm gonna miss Hydaelyn and the boys.

I LOVE everything about 6.55! I just feel so happy about it all! Also, did you notice that the order of the locations Emet told us about is the exact same order they have so far appeared in game? First the ruins in the Bounty, then the treasure islands and now the New World. If that continues then Meracydia should be next. Oh my Raha...when he started talking like the wise old man again, his voice cadence being just slightly deeper than usual, I knew something was up. We know he will eventually come to Tural but this was just too precious. Can we just go on a date together already???!!!!!

I don't think Wuk Lamat is a scaredy-cat exactly. The battle proved she's a capable warrior and all that. I think it was just that massive bird was a lot all at once for someone who (apparently) has never left Tural before. If Dawntrail is going to be a story about us helping her win the throne then it's also gotta be a story about her earning it/proving herself worthy/etc right? If that's true then girl's gotta start somewhere or it wouldn't be much of a story.

I think the same. Wuk Lamat is shown to be a competent warrior and brave by half. But so far she has not shown the leadership qualities to be the next Autarch of Tural. I do want to help her win the throne, but unsure if she will be ready by the time the contest ends. And we know at least one other contender cannot win.

she's so genuinely excited about exploring Sharlayan and meeting you and hunting with you, but she's also so clearly trying to put on a strong front and seem competent, like she's trying to live up to what she expects everyone else to expect of her those few moments she's genuinely unsettled or thrown off balance and then tries to play it off are making me really excited to see how they write her arc in Dawntrail

I think Erenville is Wuk's brother. Perhaps the oldest of the adopted brood. The comment about her manners reflecting poorly on them "both" really stood out to me. Also, I always feel like when G'raha is talking to the WoL, it's like Yoshi-P talking to us directly.

Plus, if he was the other brother, that means he's another potential claimant to the throne -- and he seems very uninterested in the idea if that's true. You know Wuk would be pressuring him to join the contest, if only to have another person help to stop the Conquest brother from winning. Yet there aren't even any hints of her doing so. (Not that she's subtle enough to be leaving it at just "hints", lol)

@@AlphaoftheDeluge we don’t know how succession works in this kingdom, but it seems mostly to be trial by contest. If it was just “he’s the oldest so he has a claim,” this wouldn’t be an issue because the line of succession would be clear. It’s possible that the adopted brood has caused some to question said line of succession, so they’ve resorted to the contest, but if Erenville is one of the adopted kids, he might simply choose not to vie for the throne. He seems pretty content to just be a gleaner.

I loved 6.55 but it was too short for me! I fell in love with Wuk Lamat as soon as she showed up! I cried allot during all of the 6.55 questlines! I want Erenville to start a Gleaners faction that we can join! I hope that we get a surprise Green Mage drop during Dawntrail! Krile is wearing her Fathers green clover, so it could be a possibility! I was on the fence for Pictomancer but Krile busting in with the awesome Moogle move sold it for me! Wuk Lamat is now my Kitty Queen! Dawntrail can't get here soon enough for me!

As we'll be getting more of Erenville's character through interactions, it seems like the difference in personality between the original Japanese and English localization will be an odd transition In the Japanese, he's super deadpan and phlegmatic. I'm not sure why they made him sound so much more... earnest in the English version. His interactions make more sense keeping that in mind. 39:39 G'raha being 200 years old again
