India is 29 states 7 Union Territories. Therefore India or indians cannot be stereotyped in one category for anything. Each state experience is unique. Google each "Indian state tourist spots" based on your preference (Dessert, Fort, Snow, Palaces, Hill Station, Himalayas, Temples, etc) Best time to visit India is in winters - Oct to Jan end.
