That’s another reason I resent Kamoshida, in addition to all the predatory stuff he was doing. Once Ryuji learned about how much Ann, Mishima & Shiho were hurting because of that creep, Ryuji put his own gripes on the back burner to get justice for the others, but never forget that Kamoshida was responsible for busting up his knee. The girls bare the emotional scars of SA, grooming (and Shiho having to do extensive physical therapy after her attempt), but Ryuji’s always going to have physical pain too. To me, that makes the moments in the game where he pushes himself legs to run despite the pain (fleeing Palace 1, and the last Palace jump), it’s why he’s my favorite Phantom Thief.

The joke is that owning an air fryer somehow makes one superior to anyone who doesn’t, so Akechi is trying to show off his superiority to Joker. In doing so, however, he ousts himself as a chronically online loser, thus causing Joker to ‘win’ the engagement with a simple “what are you talking about?” If you streamed this live, I’m sure you heard it to no end, so I’m sorry if this is repetitive.
