Donahue states ‘You’re not employed’ young girls respond.. ..’no’ - excuse Mr Donahue these young responsible loving mothers are employed to do the most vitally important job in life as a , FULL TIME MOTHER! Loving and Raising a child in a stable home environment where the first 3 years of their child’s life is the most important forming years that has a huge impact on their success and security for the rest of their lives - I commend and respect these Mothers, and all Mothers that choose to raise and provide care full time for their children pre- going to school, way more than I do these baby making women that give birth and after such a short time sometimes weeks, dump their babies in childcare centres to be raised by childcare workers and never having that important one on one loving secure attention - the world would be a much better place right now in 2021 if it was compulsory for all mothers to be able to stay home and raise their own children and participate in Playgroup to socialise their child getting them ready for school before returning to work if they have to. 🙋🏼‍♀️ 💜 🕉 🇦🇺

I get that all but the money for food/clothes/diapers and that other good stuff babies/small children need has to come from somewhere.

It’s much better for children to have their mothers home with them during their first three years (assuming the mother’s stable). I never had children but wanted to. Staying home to take care of their homes, cleaning, cooking, and raising their children is absolutely a full-time+ job!! I’m a Paralegal + I’ve had the opportunity many times with the children for a full weekend. It’s a job. These mothers shouldn’t say they don’t work - believe me, they do!! However becoming a mother as a teenager has to be ridiculously difficult. The girls here seem like they got pregnant on purpose. I don’t know. It’s 2023 now + the world is completely crazy now.

As a Behavior Therapist, this agency was more reactive than proactive. They do make great points and do help a lot of girls. However, the key is to implement proactive strategies to prevent this type of behaviors in the first place than implement reactive strategies. I can go in more details if anyone’s interested.

Alissa I do agree. But to many families the pill might be a controversial topic. If you know what I mean? I was raised in a very conservative home. I was taught to not have sex until I was married. As a result, it was ingrained in me and wouldn’t dare to even kiss a guy. As I received more education and went out into the world. I realized, that not all families are like mine, lol. So I agree with you, many will have sex. I personally wouldn’t mind using the pill, getting std shots such as the HPV, etc.

@Alissa When I got on my period, I didn't want to be on the pill because I didn't want to have sex and I didn't have sex. Not all teens have sex and feel comfortable on the pill. Don't force your daughter on the pill.

Karen Gaddis made a interesting point. Most of these teenage girls who are pregnant do not get married and they consider marriage more serious than having a baby.🤔

It's disgusting how all these adults are complicit with the rape of children by older men. No jail time for pedophiles.. It's wrong. A lot of these girls were groomed and manipulated, leading to rape. Girls dating boys their own age are trying to fill a void. They want marriage and a baby, but they settle with the baby. If they didn't care either way, They wouldn't be in that situation. They'd still be playing with barbies..

It would be interesting to see Where are they now. Did any of them have more out of wedlock babies? Did they ever get married? How many of the out of wedlock babies became teenage parents? Did they spend their entire lives on Welfare or ever get a education and support themselves and their children? The odds are they had several children from different fathers and never married any of them and lived on welfare for decades. Sad to see young girls play acting as women and raising children without a clue of what Motherhood really means. Most kept the babies so they would have someone to love them as they were not loved and nurtured in their childhoods.
