Think about everything Joel has been through with us, man. A GM's burner twitter account, giving Tobias Harris a max and trading Jimmy Butler for peanuts when they could have been a bounce away from playing for a championship. Markelle Fultz forgetting how to shoot a basketball, Simmons refusing to shoot a basketball, to get a washed James Harden and having the league allow everyone to throw a bunch of 6'8" guys to foul him and hurt him every year. But every year that kid from Camaroon gets a little better and he still has a reputation as being lazy. The giy started playing basketball at 15 and is now one of the most skilled players to ever play his position. Joel has been constantly rehabbing an injury since he's been 18. He's probably in constant pain but look at what he did last year in the playoffs. He gutted it out to try and win a championship for this city. He made sure that regular 9-5 workers for the sixers got paid by stepping up and offering 500k of his own money. I'll always have love for Joel Embiid no matter what.

Just load manage his minutes through out the game he shouldn’t do any heavy lifting during back to back games minimize his minutes however keep him active depending on how he’s feeling 💯🔥

@katherinehall530 true but the injuries and poor shooting of Gordon forced him to play some younger guys and see how they can do it, as others pointed out. Lowry and Drum will get time, for now, but McCain, Yabu, KJ are either starting or first off the bench.

I believe Nurse is above average at making pre-game adjustments based on the teams performance in the last game or against a repeating opponent. He's horrible at in-game adjustments though.

Nick nurse management is the concern now, there is not a scenario where he shouldn't play McCain starters minutes. Nurse will always find a way not to play they young legs. Only way to for this team to overcome this bad start of the season is to lean on the younger guys to provide energy. Nick Nurse needs to empower them, and the team will be rewarded. I won’t apologize for wanting Nick nurse gone, even with Embiid and pg out he was still playing Lowry Reggie and Eric Gordon. Along with the fact he had yabu playing 5 when he’s clearly a 4, instead of keeping bona around to play backup for drum or split time. Giving him those minutes would have helped immensely developing him early in the season instead of pretending yabu is a 5 or the super small lineups with like KJ at center. There’s a lot to be annoyed with and sweeping it all away cause Joel came back and played well is crazy. I’m glad he’s back and happy for the win, but let’s not pretend Nick nurses coaching has been good, how many challenges has he won? How much of his time is crying over fouls or no calls.

George took 13 shots to score 12 points. Embiid 28 shots to score 31. Maxey 22 shots to score 25. That's AWFUL. But ... they won. And that's what they need. Confidence. They'll be fine and actually looking at the schedule it is not the worst thing on Earth for Embiid to rest on one or two of the next back to backs. The team has to pile up wins and that way the press and fans will get off their backs.

The Sixers will not win a championship with Joel Embiid because he doesn’t have that fire in him. At 7 feet and 280 lbs teams are glad he wants to be Curry he doesn’t have the mentality to be dominating player
