I'm hoping that Zadorov allows McAvoy more freedom offensively AND gives the Goalies and other D more confidence. IF he can move the puck well and throw some big hits, it might slow down the opposing forecheck (would anyone be in a hurry to chase the puck into the corner with him?) This is a homerun IF Zadorov can help to maximize the performance of McAvoy and Lindholm (credit to Carlo, he always seems steady and consistent). I like the idea of primarily pairing him with McAvoy but also getting some time with Carlo and Hampus Lindholm (so that you can mix and match the top 5 in case of injuries, etc). We needed a top-shelf center like Elias Lindholm (Selke-level defense, excellent for face-offs, 200-foot game with offensive upside) but Zadorov just might give the Bs a major boost for deeper playoff runs (assuming you can lock down Swayman).
