Most “studio compressor in a pedal” units are unable to get these extreme of settings without pumping insanely or attenuating highs in a way that almost sounds like a wah as it releases. Most seem to be unable to get this extreme, period, because they’re not… great. I’m not the biggest fan of how and how much compression is used by many engineers, but that’s not the fault of the tool. This seems a very very good tool.

Can someone, who owns or has knowledge of this compressor, please answer a few questions for me? Thanks! The 4 little black knobs (attack, release, threshold, mix), how sturdy are they? Will they easily bust away from a solder point if bumped too hard? Are they wiggly? I ask because the compressor will be traveling around the world playing arenas; multiple flights each week, lots of rough travel? Will this device be able to operate on the power supplied in foreign countries such as Chile, which operates on a 220V supply voltage and 50Hz? I’m traveling there to play several arena shows.
