I'm surprised that Nintendo never did an official Pokemon game that verbatim followed the anime. Pokemon Yellow only made a couple of small references while the story remained the exact same from Red, Green, and Blue. I've always loved the world building and characters from the show and glad to see the fans bringing them to life.

Ashgray is a romhack (GBA) so what you can do with it is limited to the frlg featureset. Whereas this seems like a Pokemon essentials project.
