I woke up in the middle of the night with that line in my head, sat down at the piano and had written it in half an hour. The tune itself is generic, an aggregate of hundreds of others, but the words are interesting. It sounds like a comforting love song. I didn't realize at the time how sinister it is. This is my favourite ever live version of the song- Sting's vocal is absolutely outstanding (I especially love the way he sings after 4:00), the acapella breakdown is really cool, plus it's great to have the piano/keyboard parts which I think was missing on the Synchronicity tour- also cool to see Andy playing it on his Telecaster rather than the Strat, sounds a little bit different! They sounded at the top of their game at this concert :D
