Best cover version that I have seen in 42 years. Bravo

Wow, thank you! Stewart is a huge influence of mine. I spent so many teenage years playing along to The Police

It takes skill and guts to take on Copeland. I'm floored.

My favorite drum song of my life. Yes I heard Bonham while in high school and Peart in college. But this tops everything I’ve ever heard. 2d place to Mitch Mitchell on “Fire”.

Another amazing job. Precision playing, and great sounding kit. What mics do you use?

Nice job! You should buy that giant bell splash Stew hits so much on this album.

I actually have a couple of bell chimes and some Octobans now. I might have to do Pt. 2

@@JamWithDan I used to have octobans but sold them in the late 80s. They were fun

@@JamWithDan Peter & Dan, forgive my entering your convo, but the bells in this song have intrigued me since the day it came out. I swear I hear a single bell push (like on a hotel lobby desk) dubbed in toward the end of the tune. Can bell chimes make that long distinct tone, or have you heard that note too?
@JamWithDan3 ай бұрын
@@DAGDRUM53 I know the ones you mean at 3:56. It does sound a lot like a doorbell 😆It's 2 different small chimes I reckon

@@JamWithDan Thanks for replying, Dan, kickass drum version of OW(NT). Chasing that sound I bought an ice bell once, looked like a brass derby. I duct taped a bunch of wadded-up newspaper inside it to mute the strident DING it made. It quickly found its way to the used gear aisle at a nearby Guitar Center.

Hey man, that was awesome! Would you be able to breakdown the fill at 4:13? I'm new to drumming and that is one of my favorite Police fills.
@JamWithDan9 ай бұрын
It's just a single stroke roll, but it's all about the dynamics of each hit
