Well, of the nine character archetypes, I'd put Zayne in chaotic good. But after personally reading the comics I'd create a new category for characters like him. Cataclysmic neutral; be bad to be good, be good but results in bad. And a rock falling off a cliff could very well be a meteor storm.

Nah, its worse then that. Tei actually realized the error of her ways at the last moment and repented. She wasn't trying to kill Zayne, just use her lightsaber to free herself from some wreckage. But Zayne's friend thought she was trying to strike him and mistakenly killed her. That's how bad Zayne's luck is: the First of the Covenant he confronts could have come clean revealed the truth, clearing his name, saving him a lot more trouble, had it not been for an honest mistake.

I love Zayne’s weird connection to the force basically the more terrible and dire the situation is the powerful he becomes. So when everything is going good for him his power is pretty minimal but when ye is out numbered and in a sticky situation his power increases proportionally

Actually... force granted me a chance to erase from my memory fact of reading this story. I found this gem week ago and I felt that something wrong’s going on after half of the tomes and then suddenly remembered almost in the end that I’ve read it before back in 2014-ish. I managed to enjoy it twice and I consider, this is a real power of the force.

They lost their parents, Shad, and their homeworld (when the Mandalorians invaded Taris); at least they made it to safety - and Shel ended up working for an honest politician on Coruscant

Well, that’s the case. Masters told The Council that they might fall for Dark Side, as they saw, eventually, which could have brought to another Civil War and destructions, but The Order’s Council demanded them to bring padawans on Coruscant to inspect by themselves. Masters decided that they would kill apprentices first and lie about that padawans attacked their own teachers “as visions were”, so, then Zayne appeared and it eased out situation and masters blamed him of murders

No, but in a weird kind of way you're not overly off. He was a Jedi originally and he did become an outcast. Side note: That said, Jedi Outcast really was a great game. Man, Star Wars used to make some incredible titles back in the day, and they used to make so many more, back before Disney bought them off. I don't want to come across as overly a complainer there, but it really does feel like Star Wars has been lacking in the video game department since Disney bought the IP. Don't get me wrong, we got Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order, which is honestly one of the best Star Wars video games ever made, and I understand plenty of people love the most recent Battlefront...but they don't equal, let alone surpass the weight of all of those great titles of the days gone by combined.
