Why does "se calhar" use indicative mood while "talvez" uses subjunctive? "Se calhar" is talking about a future probability. It is not talking about factual events. The use of indicative mood with "se calhar" is contra to the grammar for indicative and subjunctive moods. Are you able to give en explanation why this is?

Que interessante! Gosto de usar "se calhar" em vez de "talvez", mas nunca pensei o que significou realmente. Acho que expressões fixas são-me difíceis de usar. I thought the word 'nos' means us or we. @@kingjames2226 The word "nos" in this case is the contraction of the preposition "em"+"os"="nos" (in the). Deixe-nos *is leave us. While "deixe nos"*leave in the Hope this helps!
