Such a great message! I believe there is an actual fear of not wearing makeup in public. I know I have it, and some days are worse than others depending on what my skin looks like. But you know what? At 29 and single, I cant worry about this forever. So I decided not to wear makeup on the days I’ll be going to the gym after work/class. Not only does it help my skin recover from makeup but I feel empowered and tbh not everyone notices wether we wear it or not because everyone else has their own issues and insecurities going on.

I totally agree. There are a lot of people that I know that are afraid to go anywhere without makeup. I’m glad you’re trying to overcome that fear. I honestly don’t wear makeup all the time. I only wear it when I’m filming, on date night, at family events, etc. It took baby steps for me as well, but now I don’t care. Thank you so much for sharing your story with me. ❤️
