I LOVE Power Wagons and this 440 is going to run great in it. I say it all the time, but I wish I would've kept my 360 Magnum swapped 84 Ramcharger. I could've fixed the rusty quarters, but I was dumb and sold it for scrap. I bought it as a perfectly good 360 LA 727 4WD and it developed an airlock issue with what I believe was a breach in one of the fuel lines, and knowing absolutely nothing about carburetors I swapped a 360 Magnum out of a 96 Ram and it ran great and had good power, but I wish I would've thought about it first and put a 440 with a Procharger in it with an A833 with that 3.55 9.25" rear. Damn I hate making dumb decisions when I was young.

My Dad once show me how to rebuild my VW Beetle motor, my first car. One of the best things I’ve ever done, My pops German and his Dad did the same thing for him on his Beetle.

Install the camshaft first. That way you can work it in from the bottom. Easier to install and less damage on the bearings

Be sure to have oily gloves on when inserting the bearing so that the bearing will spin folks.

Some tin foil on the plug wires may help keep them from getting burned.

Mine sucked because of the headers take them off and find some hp manifolds, could never get plug wire to quit burning and arc out so went back to cast iron manifolds never even notice that much power loss

That bites you have to put smog stuff on it. But they dont mind homless people shittin in the streets or dirty needles homless living on the street in tents. But they are worried about the environment out in California. You guys should try relocate from that cesspool out their. But any way nice job on the engine build.

@@mattvorhees6055 ya diesel wise ya from what I know it's harder smog wise but with old gasers things like time advance and no need for smog pumps and even cats weren't really Necessary for older vehicles, my 81 k25 had all smog stuff and a cat but they really didn't check under the hood for any of my smog equipment they just check my exhaust emission and sent me on my way it about 5 minutes but know it's more extensive and required for all of the equipment
