Now that she's reach this level she knows that she no longer needs to put herself in the small bubble of kpop and expand herself and do more with her talents than what the kpop industry allowed her to do. But I generally think most of the Blackpink members don't really care about their idol roles anymore. With the fact that they're hardly releasing music as a group and that they're getting more fame, more opportunities and more freedom on their own they probably realized they've outgrown their idol image and no longer care for it. It doesn't matter if Lisa began as a kpop idols. She and the other Blackpink members became big fishes in a small pond and they decided to put their talents somewhere they can actually utilize them to their full potential.
