Well, blue shells do follow you relentlessly as long as you were in first when they were fired. Not even trying to pass the buck to someone else by letting them get ahead of you will stop a blue shell that's targeted you. They are like a terminator. Only way to keep them from hitting you is to run off the road and fall off the stage. Of course, Dorkly isn't dark enough to make a suicide joke.... right?
