yes there are new pastel ohuhu markers! the new set is called the ‘blossoming’ set and the old set is now called the ‘sweetness’ set.

Oooh as a colored pencils nerd, I really like the look of those! It's difficult to find really light pastel pencils. They look like they'd be amazing to use along with other colored pencils to create some suntle gradients and stuff. Really cool! Looking forward to seeing your secret video next, haha!

I'm so glad you enjoyed the cloudberry jam Steph! I live in the region where they grow and my family pick them every fall. I have a bag in my freezer right as we speak, I'm saving it for a special occasion. We love to eat warm cloudberries (heated on the stove with a bit of sugar) with old fashioned vanilla icecream. It's delicious!

As a colored pencil nerd, lil tip most brands put a bit off a coating on the tip of the leads to protect them in shipping so it’s best to sharpen your pencils before you use them

I wonder if these would have been more satisfying to use if you had a toothier paper, or sanded paper? Either that or a page prepped with acrylic ground or liquitex clear gesso? The pastel pigments/particles need something to physically catch & hold on to more than ink-based media.
