it was revealed earlier she had mental issues in the past. She was probably having an episode after the stress of all of this hell, realizing she wouldnt be with Jenna and not being able to follow her better senses. Unfortunately she never got treated for her issues and she lost touch with reality at this point, she couldn't move past how she was raised despite trying her best.

I think she was thing more like “If I can’t have her no one can” which is why she tried to kill her husband, plus she was probs really jealous of him anyways and wanted him gone

Only a fool thinks sharing will save a marriage. Caught her cheating, claiming "she made me feel important" while he has flowers in hand. Then slaps him and defends her lover when he states facts. Fun fact, you don't cheat on people you love, he should've kicked her out the second he caught em.
