Nice job guy! Could you give me some pointers on changing out my suspension for new coilovers?
@backyardbuggies9393 жыл бұрын
The rear shocks at full compression are 90 degrees to the trailing arms and slant in 7 to 9 degrees, I think my 930 CVs and limit strapped at 22 degrees . . . . . The front end was just mocked up and I cycled it a few times before I welded it all together 🦆

@@backyardbuggies939 I just recently got my first sand rail and I'm looking to do my front suspension similar to yours. What the shock specs on yours? Like travel, length and what springs are you running?
@jacobevans73563 жыл бұрын
What size of rear trailing arms are you running?

What is the front and rear travel

Ok, I new to this, bare with me. To soften up the suspension, when you put the coilovers, do you reduce the torsion lift , the shock keep it lifted right? I'm not even sure on how to ask. Lol
@naterowley8503 Жыл бұрын
I am looking into this for my sandrail right now but it looks like you remove the torsion springs and run the front trailing arms in bushings with a threaded rod from one side to the other to hold the arms on. The coilovers are completely holding the weight. I'm sure someone will correct me if I am wrong.

@@naterowley8503 hell yeah! Thanks bro!

Do the rods in the front end go all the way across
@backyardbuggies9393 жыл бұрын
Yeah they go all the way through and there is lock nuts on each side, completely eliminating the front torsion springs

Thanks yall I appreciate the info
