Not even close. Lots of these rip off channel popping up recently, none of which have the craft or annunciation which SS has. There’s room for plenty of Speedrecord history channels, but they need to stop trying to rip off SS’s format so flagrantly and be their own thing. There’s some good channels out there that make Speedrunning history videos that have their own unique appeal, such as Karl Jobst, he doesn’t lift any elements from SS, and that’s how it should be, original and quality content.

On a semi-related note, the tas is 1 frame away from breaking the 4-2 framerule making 4:53 possible
@KnuxMaster3683 жыл бұрын
In fact, the TAS (L+R) is one frame off from saving one framerule in two different levels 1-1 and 4-2 If done, then the TAS time would be 4:53.33 which would likely be the ultimate perfection of the game. But humans are highly unlikely to save these two framerules if the TAS did because they’d require L+R shenanigans.

That last thing you said about people complaining about the record being on emulator, you couldn't have put them any more straight. If they got a problem with the record being on emulator, they can set it themselves. Not to mention the emulator Niftski is using, is one of the most accurate to real hardware, anyway. Me personally, so long as the emulator is as accurate to the real hardware as it can be, it doesn't matter. He got the first 4:54 , and I applaud him for it.
