I think I can speak for most RB26 owners when I say this is an awesome series as all of us would like to know the limits of our beasts. I plan on doing some pretty decent mods this year and this is exactly what I would like to know. How far can you go!

man... this car. 550kw... 35 psi... 8500 rpm.... i clearly have gone wrong somewhere in my build lol.. might need to switch my current turbo. That power is insane.. im only revving to 8,000 on the stock tacho.. that is seriously incredible man.. hope you get that 9.. once i get my spare engine built im following suit and cranking the boost up.

hey guys! so im over here in the states looking to build my R33. If i may ask, what about the GTW3884r that you decided to go with that turbo vs a GTX3584rs? from what it seems the GTW is the "budget" version of the GTX. reason i ask is i would like to tune my GTR to 5-550 wheel until i can build the bottom end with a Nitto stroker, i would like to find a turbo that is responsive while be able to (later down the road) be able to provide me with possibly 800whp? any thoughts? would you guys still suggest the GTW3884r? thank you for any response and love your videos guys!

@MotiveVideo5 жыл бұрын
would still reccomend GTX3582R Gen II with twin scroll rear housing and manifold. The gun choice turbo. Drop in Poncams, adjustabe cam gears to dial them in and support gear. Gear and diff ratios help the most for response
@warriorharj795 жыл бұрын
@@MotiveVideo Ok thank you so much, but I still have a few questions as I am not pretty good at these technical details. By Gun choice do you mean a type of housing? And are these both top and bottom mount? Sorry for being a pain and Thanks for educating and helping me. (:

can someone explain to me how lesser boost will end up in more power?
@Jakobsen868 жыл бұрын
Levent bigger turbo more airflow 😉👍
@Levent_Ergun8 жыл бұрын
Jakobsen86 I'm still confused lol, so for example a 76mm turbo can suck more air than a lets say a 70mm turbo turbo at same pressure?
@Levent_Ergun8 жыл бұрын
actually now I think about it, a 76mm turbo has more surface area to suck air and that air is denser than what a 70mm turbo can provide, is this correct?
@MotiveVideo8 жыл бұрын
Levent it's about engine efficiency Boost us a by product if how much air turbo provides vs how much air turbo consumes. Like adding cams, bigger turbo makes engine breathe easier and more efficient so there for more power in same boost Or Same power on less boost. Still same amount of air being pushed in, just engine is more efficient so boost is less ( restriction is less )

@MotiveVideo8 жыл бұрын
We got the engine out of a wrecked car. WE took the sump off to look at it and it was as it left Nissan. We didnt replace anything at all, just put a baffle in the factory sump and put it back on. It has had ARP2000 head studs and Nitto head gasket installed after it cited the head ( watch previous video) and that's it. We have no reason to make anything up.
