The Quest for the WORST Build in Hades | Haelian

Suggestions? For clarity: we're looking for a build archetype that the game hints at in some way by offering upgrades that would be key (i.e. the Concentrated Beam hammer). So "dio dash only" doesn't count (get rekt).

I remember you mentioned once how Luci is likely created to diversify Rail from how dominant Zeus attack is on it, and it kinda got me thinking if its something that can realistically be solved by making the ramp even better or upping the base damage per hit on the Rail. You kinda can formulate that Zeus Attack is essentially a 100% Attack Boon on basic rail(because 10 base damage vs 10 add damage), whereas on Lucifer it scales INTO 50%(according to wiki, full hit Luci is 370 on 20 hits so 18.5 on average, 10/18.5 = 0.55). This means even if you hit all 20 hits normally Zeus is still better than Aphro's attack boon before factoring in stuff like failed full ramps, the fact that Zeus scales to global damage booster etc Granted on retrospect the numbers is hard to get right. The most the individual hit can be upped if were to make the full hit 370 with lower ramp but higher damage per hit was around 15 which is ridiculously tight

I think a way to add replayability would be adding a pact that would add a "chaos" mode. Rooms would be mixed from the different regions so you'd get a mix of enemies and challenges and bosses could mix together. Balance would be a big part of it, but I think it could be fun and add an unexpected side to it that would encourage more attempts.

I think it'd be cool if Hades had something like a two player Horde mode from Gears of War. Endless waves of increasingly difficult enemies, one player as Zag and the other as Melinoe, and every 10 waves is a boss/mini boss. You could have each round give something like a key/heart/nectar, and every boss/mini boss give a boon or something. Not really sure how to work hammers into an endless mode though, other than just letting you pick two at the beginning. But see how high of a round you can get to. I think that'd be fun.

What if you did a multiplier build, hades aspect varatha with the highest damage percentage boons for attack and special. Extra credit if you can get chaos to give you even higher multipliers. Not to mention stuff like sweet surrender.

When i think my build "Spam Attack Zag Shield" was bad... this is worst.

Maybe not sound bad, but usually go hammer with the dash attack+double attack with artemis or afrodite... im my head i say "hey, this is not bad with the base bonus dmg"

I'm not as knowledgeable as you are but i hope that weapon hammers/abilities are better in Hades 2. Some of them are pretty bad.

The worst build I've come across thanks to AP2, was zag rail, spread fire, and poseidon attack. First and last time I ran AP2.
