@@boser57 Allowing it? Orihime is not part of Gotei 13, nobody would give her orders. Plus Yama himself didn't kill the tres bestias out of respect, normally he could have melt them in a second if he truly considered them a threat to Soul Society. Plus the downside of defeating Aizen was leaving Hueco Mundo without a ruler, even when Barragan was in power hueco mundo was still ruled by savage beast who could do whatever they want, it was Aizen the first who actually brouth a sort of peace and order in that world. Since Harribel wasn't considered a hot headed who wanted to kill but just protect her comrades, letting her live to keep hollows under control was the best choice.

What you dont realise is the violence and gore in the arrancar arc was more gruesome than these 2 episode. In the original Bleach whenever you see a fight deciding wpund 90% of the time a body part was cut off or blown off its just cause they changed it all to make it age appropriate but now it just gets better and more gruesome each episode

Now that I think about it There are very few captians who either lost once or never lost at all(which is almost non existent the reason I say is because squad zero getting a redemption) that being said Mayuri only lost one fight in the series(so far not to give spoilers for those who are anime only fans so I won't say much but he only lost once and after that never lost a fight again) but when it comes to the villans like Aizen or Yawach Bleach you start to think how could these guys lose in the first place?

Old School Bleach went really heavy-handed with censoring out the gore from the manga but kept most of the lewd content and gags. TYBW goes really heavy-handed with censoring out most of the lewd content and gags but kept in most of the gore. It’s super noticeable watching the 2 back-to-back and weird how they did a complete 180 there. Like all the mutilation and body horror that got censored out of the original is fine now-have at it. But by the current standards of what’s fit to animate and what stays in the manga, that Orihime/Matsumoto scene from the early Arrancar Arc (you know-the one) probably would have been cut.
