When he acted clumsy or shy, he was just luring them in with false sense of superiority over him. They might have thought that they can shoo him away with their simple rich girl rudeness, but quints where trapped in the palm of his hand since the beginning. The moment he "dropped" his test sheet near their table I understood that they stood no chance. He was calm and calculating, while his imouto destroyed Itsuki in a battle of wills, knowing that everything can be excused by "kids being kids, not watching what they say". A work of a master I dare say.

Over the past three days I went on a binge fest of catching up with the manga. This is what I think of each girl. Miku, for the longest time and I would be happy if she get chosen. Once she took a backseat in the chase. I didn’t root for her as much but then she took action and I would be happy if it was her who gets chosen. Ichika, I didn’t love her character but I didn’t hate her character either. I wouldn’t have minded if she won, but after chapter 80 and 83. I couldn’t root for her anymore. I didn’t think she deserved to win after what she did. Nino, I liked her character after that initial arc. She was very cold but slowly opened up, we could she her grow, change, get closer to everyone, and after chapter 59 i was rooting for her. Itsuki, I liked her character but I never really rooted for her. She was more of a troublesome friend that you care about deeply but don’t invest romantically. If she is chosen I’d feel as if it would be a first girl syndrome where the first girl we are introduced to wins just because. Yotsuba, for the longest time I really liked her character but she was more of the energetic best friend that would cheer you on. Not one that fell in love with you. That all changed after chapter 90. After that we can see her in a new light, see all the thoughts that we could not read and it opens the story up so much. I really want it to be her but I had doubts since she didn’t do much to pressuring a relationship.
