Salad is something that just about every person enjoys, and kids don’t need to eat lettuce, cucumbers and tomatoes with Italian dressing, they can have a small amount of lettuce with heaps of cheese and bacon and ranch and things of that nature that kids enjoy so they get used to eating salad and over time they’ll realize that it taste better without all that cheese on it etc.

Because the parents lack common courtesy, and are selfish pushovers who think that every other diner should find their kid’s shrieking adorable, and have no respect for the other diners paying for a night out, and no control over the children they have allowed to develop picky eating habits, and walked in with a negative attitude, setting the whole thing up for failure, and push the decision of what to feed their kids into the waitress who likely gets to deal with complaints and loss of tip money from angry customers who do not appreciate paying for the experience of ear drum piercing screams and parents who allow it to continue rather than inconveniencing themselves and removing the misbehaving children from the dining room until they calm down and are able to sit and behave, or taking their meals to go if they are unable to get their children calmed back down! Introduction of new foods should happen in the home if you know your kids are likely to refuse to try them and throw a full on tantrum to get their way, because that’s what worked for them in the past and allowed them to get to the point where their palates are used to instant gratification crap food and unwilling to try new things. Their own fault, yet they don’t want to be the ones stuck dealing with the monsters they created on their own, so they put it off in others around them while they project their negative expectations and defeat into others to back them up or deal with for them! Rude! So disrespectful! They ought to cover the bill for every table in earshot of their kids screaming and tantrum throwing and grow a backbone!

I never had any problems with my kiddos eating vegetables. I started giving it to them from around 6 months of age and they had vegetables everyday as their main source of food. I didn’t introduce them to sweet snacks until they were 3 years old and then it was only occasionally. Parents today make a huge problem for themselves by introducing their children to sugary snacks very young. They don’t need it, it’s not good for them and it’s highly addictive. Start them off right and they will always enjoy good food.

This is a really damaging tactic. I have sensory issues from my autism. I was a very picky eater as a kid and still am! My parents never forced me to eat anything, despite the way my aunts wanted them too. Just keep in mind that every child is different and if a kid doesn’t want what was made for dinner, you just give them cereal or even a sandwich. You don’t have to cook a bonus meal.

I absolutely love vegetables now. You lots have absolutely no idea what they feed their children at home. Sure, they have their own TV show that displays only a FRACTION of their lives. But who are you to come on here and judge them.

S. James imagine being this moronic, probably not even a parent. You have no idea how they’ve raised their kids. My first solid was a soft maccas french fry (pretty much the same for all my siblings) and we ALL eat vegetables(my brothers prefer them over meat). an ex-friend of mine was raised on salad and veggies and binged on crap whenever she went somewhere else and still had temper tantrums about vegetables at age 16.

The parent are making a huge mistake by making it a big deal to eat vegetables. When the mom says "guys today we are going to eat vegetables" you are already setting yourself up for failure. How about not saying anything at all? Just order for the kids without saying much. They are enabling this behaviour themselves 😑

They have six kids, that is a lot of work and it makes sense that something would fall to the wayside. At least they are following the doctor's advice and being active on this. And also not force feeding them but trying to find ways to get the quints to actually like or at least accept it .
@samg8734 жыл бұрын
Imagiccion that is a cop out. Parents have a responsibility to teach kids healthy habits. My mom worked full time and had to take care of me cause I am disabled and still found time to cook healthy dinners for the family

Actually they were given vegetables straight away. Watch season 2 + 3. Blayke eats her veg. So they did a good job with her. Bit trickier at mealtime when you have quints. It’s just that over time they increasingly got into the rut of having cheap quick meals that all their kids will readily eat.
@i.wyvernortham4 жыл бұрын
Despite what these clips show, the girls were introduced to vegetables when they were babies. If you go back through the episodes of Outdaughtered, you'll see that Danielle used to cook healthy vegetable meals for them. It's just natural for toddlers and little kids to cause a fuss about this. But Blayke is a very good girl and eats the food her parents give her because she knows it's good for her, the same goes for Parker!

Alain Molina I have had 8 children my last two where twins rest their souls , I had my first child at the age of 13 I lived in Lebanon and children are not picky eaters their the reason being is we are forced to eat grass so we don’t starve imagine a child ripping and eating grass so they don’t die from hunger .we don’t even know what some vegetables and fruits taste like I ate an apple when I was 23 for the first time . Point is maybe if you teach your children to be grateful even for a vegetable they hate they wouldn’t be so cranky and disrespectful , how about you any kids ?
