As a Christian I do believe that Jesus is the THE Messiah who conquered sin and death and, even now, brings God's SHALOM around the world for those who believe and submit to His Lordship. Still I think Adam's analysis here is right on. For the Jew there is a great faith challenge, to believe that Jesus is the Son of God, THE Messiah, when He did not establish world peace yet. For the Muslim there is clear unreconcilable logical contradiction in the Quran.

In the Quran, there is a verse about the sun circles around itself, although we see it moving in the sky. Also, there is a verse about the mosquitoe and the parasite above it. All this in sort al Baqara. Also, there are a few verses about the relativity theory where some angels travel fifty thousand years and some travel one thousand compared to our lives. What is intriguing is that God or Allah, when you read Muslims holy book, it speaks about unbelievers in past tense like the judgment day has already happened, and we are living in the past. Just ask Google about this term about " Are humans actually living in the past " and see what the responses are on google. The Muslims Holly book is full of more scientific information, but who is blinded by hate and bigotry toward other people, his life is miserable.

Adam, it's always nice to listen to you. However, saying that the Christians invented the second advent is not true, it is predicted in the old testament as well but not in details as His birth and death. Some of the prophesies concerns the first adventure while some concerns the second. So, it's not something the Christians made up. If you want more I can pull up bible verses that supports my claim. Isaiah, Daniel and others prophesied that the Messiah will suffer and that He will die and bear the iniquity of His people. This is about the first advent.

I believe the 2nd coming is torah taught because the messiah is said to come on a cloud and a donkey. The rabbis make it an either or but the prophecy claims both. For rashi and ibn ezra the messiah will come on one of these based on the righteousness of the jews. Additionally, the rabbis believe in messiah ben joseph and messiah ben david with 2 distinct roles. The Christians just merge both in Christ

I like your videos and I respect your views which I believe was with sincerity & honesty. While I agree with half of your opinions on the blunder of the "Messiah" appearing in the Moslem texts, since evidently it was cobbled together from various sources, many of which were proven to be fables and myths, which made its ways into their texts. Anyone who cares to do a little research will come to see the blunders there. However, regarding the claim that the Christians also got it wrong is indeed an ignorant position. It was necessary for the Messiah to appear and be rejected by the Jews based on their "expected expectations of the Messiah coming as a ruler, uniting the people just like King David". It was necessary for the Messiah to be rejected by the Jews on that basis, else His death on the cross may not have happened. It was perfectly followed according to God's plan to have the Messiah "cut off" or crucified so that sins of mankind could be atoned for. Jesus fulfilled over 300 prophesies in the Bible which is completely ignored by those who reject Jesus as Messiah. Even His death on the cross and His resurrection 3 days later was in fulfillment of those prophesies. He will come again as the ruler in His 1000 years kingdom on earth - which is the 2nd coming for Christians but the 1st coming for the Jews who then will realize that He was the Messiah they had been waiting for all along. The Jews in the end do get their Messiah as per their "expected specs" while at the same time they will realize He's been here before already - as Jesus. Even this is prophesied. Zechariah 12:10 “And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication. They will look on me, THE ONE THEY HAVE PIERCED, and they will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child, and grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for a firstborn son. This is a future event yet to be fulfilled when Israel as a nation is surrounded and attacked and ready to be annihilated. This is when He comes to save Israel.

Just to add, from a Christian perspective (remembering that the originators of the NT, ie. Jesus and then the disciples, were all Jews, with full understanding of Jewish context and doctrine - they didn't invent anything... The anointing of the Kings ran parallel with the anointing of Priests (Aaron and his sons). Actually its the Priest who anointed the King (Samuel with Saul + David, then Zadok with Solomon). So the modern or common Jewish Messianic interpretation emphasizes the Kingship of the Messiah, but does not account for, or neglects the Suffering servant priest (Psa 22, Isa 52 & 53, Zech 12 etc). The lamb of God that taketh away the sins of the earth: e.g Isaiah 53 2. Jesus or Issa is the martyred messiah, according to the Quran. While Issa “appears” to have been crucified and had died - he does not really die but he resurrects. Thus, Issa is the first martyr of Islam, and all those who are martyrs - also, they don’t die but “appear” to die only. Now - the writers of the Quran believed that this resurrected spirit of Issa is with them and leads them to battles. They called this warring spirit - “Muhammad”. Unfortunately- those two interpretations of the Messiah - the Peace Maker and the “warrior” can not be reconciled. This is because war is opposite of peace, and the opposites can not be brought together. This is a mistake take from Christians who also believed (and some still believe today) - that Jesus comes with a sword. Oh, also - the second main character of the Quran - the messenger who is the human lawgiver - he considers himself the apostle of the messiah and is also called “Rasul Allah.” So in the Quran you have the Muhammad - Light/ spiritual guide, and the man who leads armies as inspired by the Muhammad spirit of Jesus
