Love how people used to pay extra for leather now they pay extra to have no leather 😂 😂. I'll take real leather over vinyl or cloth any day.
@bwofficial17767 ай бұрын
I'd take cloth over leather and anything over vinyl. I like cloth because it doesn't get burning hot in the summer from the sun, doesn't feel cold in the winter, breathes well, and doesn't require regular conditioning. Every car I've had with vinyl or leather received cloth seat covers. My current car was special-ordered with cloth.
@alekskensington54947 ай бұрын
@@bwofficial1776 Simple solar tinted windows, heated seats, and I might have to condition them once a year at most. as opposed to Stains, tears, odors trapped in the cloth, and pet hair. but cloth has its advantages in climate I agree with that. if I wasn't allowed the tint and heated seats then I'd probably be a cloth guy too. then again running the car for a few minutes to either heat the car or cool it kinda negates it so idk.
@FromTheLastCentury7 ай бұрын
9:10 thats wrong. The new 2024 models don't have those climate controls !! They integrated the controls for climate and volume into the infotainment. Works horrible, but they think that people will use the voice control for these settings. You can see the changes one the LR website or in other reviews.

100 series Land Cruiser also had cieling climate vents. ‘98-‘07 Lexus LS460 in 2007 also had lighted seatbelt buckles. Nearly 20 years ago. The earlier LS430 may also have had it, not sure.

Honda brv also has ceiling climate vents and Toyota hiace , as do a lot of the bigger cars in south Asia. It's quite interesting because in western cars the size of a hiace or brv they tend to put it in the b or c pillars or in the back of the centre console. But Japanese/ South Asian large cars tend to have it in the ceiling

Including the one shown in Doug’s video, why does the paint work not have the lustre and reflectiveness of previous models or other premium brands?! If I were silly and wealthy enough to buy a RangeRover, I expect to be able to see a reflection in the paint work.

I don't really get the RR Sport in its current iteration. With the current pricing (over 100k as tested), I'd step up to the full size RR. Whenever I see a Sport, I think "there goes someone who really wanted a Range Rover but couldn't afford one". On a related note, what purpose does the Discovery serve in the current JLR lineup? I feel like between the Velar, the Sport, and the Defender, they have pretty much all their midsize SUV bases covered.
@alev71307 ай бұрын
Actually i could choose between the full size and the sport and chose the sport (2 times in a row). Mostly because i'm italian and the full size is too big. I also prefer how the sport drives and looks (in the front)
@alev71307 ай бұрын
The Discovery is a bit useless for me but it's as big as a sport without being a range rover, so it's cheaper. But i don't know why would anyone choose a Discovery instead of a defender
