I've been seriously thinking about buying a ZR1 2011-2013. But I'm now out of the ballpark financially because these Vettes have gone up by 15K in the last few months. When will this madness end and they go back to affordable?

The market has been elevated the last few months and I do feel your pain. Am in the market for another ZR1 but not at these prices.

If your c6 ZR1 has the black spoiler it's a PDE performance option with track tires and different 1st gear ratio in trans. This is like the Z07 option on the Z06.

What’s up bud? Love the content, keep it coming, I just subbed. I was fortunate enough to order an ‘09 JSB ZO6 in early 08 and took delivery in June ‘09. Sadly I don’t have her anymore but will hopefully get back in the saddle within a year from now. I really want a ZR 1 but as you stated the prices are ridiculous, ZR 1’s with 40k miles for 75-80 grand, crazy. Anyway, I hope your channel grows! Peace brother. ✌🏼

Always love zr1 videos, can you do one on the inferno orange? I think one of the most noticeable changes for 12 was the updated steering wheel with zr1 logo on the airbag.

I actually filmed a video on all of the model years of ZR1 and like an idiot forgot both the door threshold differences and the steering wheel differences :(. Look for that video early next week. The Interno Orange makes an appearance :)

I take it this is Carlisle Blue #81. Don’t forget these were hand built LS9’s and under the inter cooler cover on the drivers side is the man that built it. If you happen to come across a black engine build plate that would be an engine build experience with the individuals name and will still have the LS9 engine builders name tag. Thanks for letting me know about the rear wing I did not know that about body color / black. Is this ZR1 part of your collection? Keep up the good work.

Rhett - this is indeed #81! And yes, this is from my fledgling collection. Still looking for a night race blue and atomic orange :). I have another ZR1 video coming soon on year to year differences but it's by no means exhaustive.

Atomic Orange (LeMans blue and Daytona Sunset Orange 1 of 1’s) Daytona belongs to GM. Is the only color I have not seen in person for my photo album. Get a video of every color (even if it is not your ZR1) I have only been able to get a picture of five different color ZR1’s in on pic. Keep up the good work.

@@ddxauto I have Carlisle Blue ZR1 #67. Nice to see someone else with one. 3rd owner, now up to 65K miles on it, making 700whp on E85. To solve the seat issue (yes, I agree the '12 seats still aren't great), I added Caravaggio seats. As to your black rear spoiler, I think that was part of an option package as mine is body color.

How are you going to tell us about the cool rare color and have it inside a dimly lit garage 🤦♂️

Hi brother, love your channel just found it. I have a 2009 ZR1. Question for you, in your other videos you have your cars hooked up to a trickle charger for the battery, but you have it going to the Fuze Box. Can you please tell me how to do this? I don’t want to do it wrong and damage something. Thanks brother, keep the videos coming.

What I typically do on these cars is hook the positive lead to the main fuse box input and the negative to the tensioner.
