I bought a novelty 2 headed quarter. Handling the coin, it felt noticeably lighter than a normal quarter. It's amazing how handling coins you get so accustomed to each coins weight you can immediately tell when something feels off (I believe the difference was about 2 or 3 tenths of a gram).

i have a 2015 silver eagle no mint mark. Also have a mint BOX of MBU 1999. ONE OF THEM has a slight DD on the stars on reverse. taking to a shop that does free eval and PCGS member if any are worth grading. Also have 3 mint tubes of 1955 nickels. won some 1992 walking liberties and didn't know what I had so they are all toned. Some scratched

I was considering getting into selling American Silver Eagles. How does one get started? Where does one source the rolls? If for example, rolls are retailing at $760 ($38 per coin), what is the price one could acquire them at? Would $10k per order be too little to buy them at that price? And can someone explain all the hands it normally touches from the US Mint to the end-user? I am appreciative of anyone who helps even though I may be seen as a competitor by most.

I find it very odd that only 1 was struck. How exactly could that have happened? If there was a unintentional mistake made why wouldn't there be more of them out there? US mints strike more than 1 coin even errors.

I have a 2005 silver eagle West Point with the front side shiny frosty silver but the reverse is a shiny golden. Even the rim is golden and I’m not talking about a little discoloring the whole reverse is golden. Have you ever seen or hear of 2005 silver eagle with the reverse side golden in color and the front silver??

Nice coins 👍 ,here in Scotland the normal eagles sell for between 50-70 dollars each , mostly they are always out of stock , there's 20 % tax on them but no tax on gold 🤔

Thoughts on the 2022 .9999 fine 1/4 lb silver eagle proof? Non monetary. Got a mailer from national collectors mint offering it for $149 plus $7 s/h and if I call in the order I get a free 2022 silver eagle. Breaks down to about 32.64/oz which is high for stacking rn based on spot but with only 10k mintage on this I was considering but skeptical on mailers. Thoughts anyone?

Don’t look now but these ASE’s prices are crashing especially the most expensive ones like the 1995-W Proof that is going for $12,500.00 in grade level 70 on todays market on eBay completed sold area. Don’t get me wrong I too am a serious PCGS ASE collector and have noticed that any ASE at year 2000 and below that year in Mint State is way over priced and is now at the mercy of our economy and now will go for more realistic prices, but still dropping in price so be patient and prepare for bargains in the near future.

I got a 2005 silver eagle West Point but the reverse side is not silver color at all it’s golden even the rim is a golden color. I seen coin discoloring but the whole reverse is golden and the whole front side is a shiny frosty silver.
