Never come across this Podcast before & really enjoyed the conversation. I know David Horne quite well & have always had massive respect for the Man. He is just genuinely into all things strength & has amassed a tremendous breadth of knowledge in the field. What an Hombre, gotta luv that. Great listen 🤨☝️

@44:45 Jonny humble was my grandma's next door neighbour. Wish I'd known about him back then and trained with him as a kid

Jonny Humble was a great guy, strong shoulders. His gym in Uxbridge St, called the Ambassador was where I coached.

Loved this podcast and they're all superb...very new to strength training but certainly inspired me to explore grip training for martial arts . Thanks for sharing Dan 🙏

FYI, I’m sure there’s a video of arm wrestler Ron Bath also lifting the inch db thumbless at an expo.

Very typical, if someone isn’t good at a certain area , then it’s useless. In this case the guy hates grippers . What are the photos on the wall ? I didn’t listen to the whole show , I skipped most of it , I love stones though . Shame he couldn’t pick the inver stone over head . Well done on the dinnie stones, so many have lifted too, wish to have a go .
