The Rav4 gets a sound upgrade...and I find rust

Our 1999 Toyota Rav4 2-door soft-top has had bad sound for years. What was supposed to be a simple speaker upgrade turned into a 14 month slog through rust, picky inspection shops, weird wheel hubs, and more things that are par for the course in keeping an old unicorn on the road.

Rav 4's are one of the coolest Toyota's ever made. 👍 They were the original crossover. Honda and every other car company copied them.

thx for the recommendation, i was going to be replacing the speakers in my 04 4runner soon and that will really help out, i already have a kicker sub and was planning on changing all of the speakers eventually
