2002 Subaru WRX autocross project - Starting on the suspension! - Ep 3

I just bought a 2002 Subaru Impreza WRX for my new track car! I'll be autocrossing and tracking it, but first I have to figure out everything that's wrong with it and fix it up. In this video, I talk through the size of the shifter (it's not stock), show a few clips from me cleaning the car, and start disassembling the suspension.

depending on your yard layout, you can invest in a heavy duty shed so you can move the yard keeping equipment out of the garage, thus freeing up more space.

I've thought about it, but I think smarter storage in the garage would be the best first step. I kinda want to keep sheds out of the yard as long as possible, because very little of the yard is flat.

Say how would you go about removing a stripped lug nut? I was taking off my tires the other day to bleed my brakes only to discover on the front passenger side tire one of the lug nuts was stripped so i couldnt take off the tire.

Is the nut stripped, or the stud it screws to? If you can't get the tire off, I'm guessing the nut itself is stripped, like you said, just verifying. There are sockets you can get that have teeth that bite into stripped nuts to help get them off. If ithat doesn't work, you could jb weld (or actually weld if you know how) a socket you don't care about anymore to the nut and try that.
