Other info I forgot to mention, don't purchase a case or a screen protector from Razer, get a 3rd party one, their screen protectors are brittle and chip easily and their cases are thin and won't last.

there are diffrent headphone jacks and inputs. search "different types of headphone jacks" the 3rd picture. the mic channel can be used as a data channel in some cases. like when you got a volume up and down button on your headphone wire.

Why does it deserve more attention? For example, the OnePlus 5T is faster(oc'd CPU), has a bigger AMOLED screen(AMOLED isn't necessary, but still), better cameras, it has just as good customization settings, has a faster fingerprint. And it's cheaper. In my opinion, the only good things about the Razer are the 120hz screen and the speakers. That's it.

I'm Portuguese and I can't stand the fact that you, in a way, can't just buy any phone you want but you have to take in consideration the operator that you are using. Like you said in the video, you used verizon but it didnt have the razerphone so you had to switch to a different operator just to have that phone. In portugal we have three major operators, MEO, NOS and Vodafone, and I can just buy whatever phone I want and then put my sim card in there, whether it's a MEO, NOS or Vodafone SIM card. For example there's nothing like I want to buy an Iphone 8 but NOS doesn't sell Iphones 8's so i'll have to switch to Vodafone instead. Can someone explain to me why it's like that in the US?

You can buy the Razer Phone in the US from Amazon or directly from their store. It doesn't come with any plans attached to it, and it's unlocked for all GSM carriers. It's what I did, and I don't even live there.

JackOps I don't get you guys, but I tried Xiaomi, Samsung, Sony, Huawei and Asus phones. And also Iphones but I never owned one, a friend let me use it. Although Samsung and Apple are so popular, and spec-wise a litte overpriced, they run the best for me. Great camera, doesn't get hot, no lag, Samsung has the best screen quality wise, etc. In my opinion the best phone manufacturers are Google, Samsung, Huawei and Apple. But phones are something personal so there is no wrong choice.

JackOps Software is really important too. I mean, the bloated Touchwiz from Samsung is not as good as stock android battery and performance wise, but it's still great for the average consumer. I had a Zenfone 2 and my dad had a Zenfone 3 a while ago. Both are relatively beasty in specs. But because of the ugly and unoptimized software the battery drained fast and they ran hot and laggy.

I got the phone, using it right now in fact, and honestly I have no complaints. Screen resolution is amazing, OS is fast and smooth, design is great, etc. Overall really happy with it. My only complaint is that, even though the picture quality is amazing in good lighting, it starts having artifacts at low light. The phone is also incredibly sensitive, and the sharp corners tend to dent. If only it was water proof too, then I would be insanely happy

Jup, have it too and was amazed by the stunning 120hz and the speakers. The missing headphonejack wasn't a deal breaker since I don't listen to music that often over that port. The included DAC is good for the moments needed and in my car I use Android Auto. And as far as it goes for camera - If I need a high quality camera I take a proper one with me and for the few snapshots it's good enough with a bit tweaking with the google camera apk-port.

RazQrt, no it will not. This phone will NOT run the real PubG. This thing doesn't even match a PS4 in terms of specs, and the PS4 is a 720p console! This phone is 1440p, a.k.a double the resolution. What fps do you get on PS4? trash? Alright, about 15 - 30fps. Now reduce these fps numbers by 3x, that's this phone's fps. (it would be 3x less even if it was equivalent to the PS4, in which it's not so that number would actually be worse..... Than, 3x worse. xD

Yes some Bluetooth headphones have worse sound quality, but normally the battery is higher voltage, than most phone auxiliary ports so it is louder with more bass.

Damn, I was getting hyped for a second but no audio jack is a big problem. I listen to music and podcasts for 9 hours a day at work, and I’m not willing to buy Bluetooth earphones just to have to recharge them every time I get home. Hopefully their next phone (assuming they make another) will introduce a jack.

I can probably make things work with the vibration. But that headphone jack is what gets to me. That is the one thing I mostly ask for out of a phone, and it's a shame because I really like everything this phone has to offer, but no headphone jack is an instant deal breaker for me. I despise this trend of removing basic, widely used features. I can understand things that became obsolete, but the headphone jack is still very much alive.

I've tried Nova Launcher on my Samsung Galaxy J3, and for me nothing beats the Evie launcher. It's free, ad-free, simple, beautiful and adds lots of customisation.
