At the beginning of the show The host all sound nervous more so Loni. In this clip they briefly discuss how they deal with sensitive topics, briefly bringing up race but Loni doesn’t apologize about the comment she made on Friday’s show.

Natalia I feel the same way! This girl felt very disrespectful and stereotyped a girl that has literally has barley any white in her. There’s a thin line. I can joke and laugh as much as the next person but we need to really think about the way things come off.

There is a fine line between a joke and being disrespectful. Often times when you confront a person about their disrespect they lie that it was a joke. It’s a common tactic that cowards use.

Its Alms She said this Shan making cards for ppl to read during dates is stuff white ppl do. She assumed Shan was white when Shan is multiracial. She went on to say that that’s her white side coming out. Jeannie got offended and starting defending Shan against Loni. Shan cried about what was said and then later made a video stating how she overracted to what Loni said and admitted to crying about everything. Ppl are STILL coming for Loni!

Yes exactly. I remember one show when Tamar was still on and Loni made a joke referring to medical face masks as "being dressed like an Afghan woman"...then I remember her signaling for the cameras to cut it but it was still on (I think they were talking about germs or something lol). Sorry I'm bringing this up again because I'm sure she's changed since then, but it's just an example I remember (I'm over it though). Basically, some jokes are just not good to say, and sometimes people say the wrong things and must apologize for it. Until we get to a point where we can joke about others and not feel offended, than we have evolved. It's not always about being too sensitive. Sometimes the climate of the issues we face is not something that can be easily turned to a joke. Comedians need to know the fine line between disrespect and joking.

To be honest, Loni’s foot was in her mouth this time. Conscientiously, she knew she made a big faux pas and if she was women enough, she would apologize. Clearly, this rubbed people including the person she disrespected the wrong way, it came to the point that she totally disregarded the awkwardness it brought at the table. Had it been a white person that did what she did, she would have been a very emotional commentator on that topic during ‘girl chat’. Totally, inappropriate, she needs to do better.

Julia Pierre I agree 1000% when the picture of the biracial women popped up and loni said “what’s that” THAT?! If a white person said to a black women “what’s that” they’d be racist, there’s no double standards. Also to say they were her “white aspects” I don’t agree with either because that’s stereotyping races saying actions coincide with the colour of their skin which simply isn’t true, that’s like saying all people of colour are aggressive, which is a stereotype which isn’t true! I just think if your not part of that race yourself you shouldn’t speak about it, Tamera is the only one who can talk about black and white lives because she’s mixed she comes from both races and was raised by them. Loni needs to apologise.

Loni cannot recognize the difference between a light hearted race joke as she frames it and an ignorant and dismissive reactive comment about Shan Boody, which is what she made. It is not about political correctness and sensitivities it is about her terrible joke that feel flat and she didn’t have the right comeback but instead defended her ignorance. Loni shows no self reflection or growth and comedians are supposed to do this. That’s why this situation is so sad and disappointing.

Ughh Loni, I don’t get sensitive with jokes...but the way you were trying to “joke” about the whole Shannon thing and the way you delivered it was so wrong. You should’ve backed down when they told you she wasn’t white, but Loni got defensive and kept digging herself in a bigger hole. I was truly baffled by that whole video. It was really cringey and awkward but I’m happy Jeannie had the balls to stand up for Shannon.

So much hate for the only black women. I wish people would get a clue and learn about how dirty this country was and still is to black women. Read one article on whats it is like to be a black women so you can understand why you have so little empathy for black women. And for the black women calling her out shame on you with your bad faith.

The problem with Loni is she thinks she’s too grown to apologize when wrong. No, people are not being too sensitive, if anything Loni is insensitive and arrogant. You can’t dictate how a person feels about your comments, simply apologize because it’s not about what you think. It’s about how you made them feel.

Code: be silent or speak up in her defense as other races do for their own. I see some of my sister's in the comment section making it easy for the next to disgrace our women and it's sad b/c at the end of the day you're only allowing people to disrespect you. Black is Black and yes Right is Wrong but if we don't uplift one another who TF will. Stay woke y'all some of y'all are falling into that trap and you're only opening up the door for future hate and disrespect against our own. #sticktotheMFNcode

This wasn’t humor she was depicting white as stupid enough to have cue cards, sorry! I have seen Lonnie get mad at Jennie for accidentally saying all lives matter. She thinks that it flew over everyone’s heads, but it didn’t. I’m very Happy women of color are having talk shows and things, but I never looked at color, but Lonnie says women of color, black people, talk show for women of color all the time, to me that says exclusion. Oh well I wish the ladies all the best God has to offer.

I’m not trying to say anyone should get down to any other level but to God. I’m just speaking from my perspective as a person who never looked at color before, so yes to answer both of your questions yes it hurts. Is that what you want? To hurt back for the wrongs done to you? Does it do any good for people of color? I wish and pray that the pain in your hearts can go away so you can see how beautiful you really are. The pain will eat at your souls and keep you in bad places in your hearts. Yes I hate what happened, and any right minded Christian should hate what happened. I guess I’m ignorant and narrow minded, I could be as I am learning disabled. When I looked at black people I see Dr Martin Luther King, who I loved. When I looked at black people I saw family going to church, Wonderful preachers and church choirs that could melt the coldest heart ever. When I saw black friends, I saw mothers loving their daughters and braiding their hair every morning. When I looked, I saw love. Please don’t let the bitterness take that away. I pray that people will one day come together and see that God made all of us the colors of the earth from which we came. To hate another race is like cutting off your right arm, and expecting it to still work. One day! I know it will happen, when Jesus comes., we all will see Love. I pray you take the bitterness and pain out of your hearts because it can make you sick. I come from a dysfunctional family and was hated just because I was there! Now I’m sick and have stage 3 ovarian cancer! I’m praying God heals me! I wanna see when people love one another and the haters no longer hate, and yes that includes white people!

I’m so tired of this!!!! don’t use the unfair treatment of African Americans in the USA, to condone racial statements against other races! It was wrong what she said. Not every white person is the same! If I would of said black people are so sensitive and are also racist. Someone like you would of said that was out of line!! Just because of the history behind African Americans does not give anyone a right to be racist and hateful! And Loni is a racist! she doesn’t admit because she haves a mentality where she thinks it’s ok to speak however she wants! I don’t care who you are! Black women can be racist also .
