good narration and well written. Half hour into it and no music so far... I think I may be able to sleep to this.

Thank you for this facinating perspective. I have a copy of 'Buccaneers of America' by Esquemeling, translated into English, "written originally in Dutch by John Esquemeling, one of the buccaneers who was present at these tragedies"; published by G. Routledge & sons ltd; New York : E. P. Dutton & Co. My copy is not dated but the inner leaf is signed "Roland Gill 1925". Your research and audio-book casts another light. My only mild criticism is of your at times odd pronunciation of some English words. I write as one who is completing a series of paintings about the amazing circumnavigation by Francis Drake with notes that cast from the perspective of a seaman, a fresh view. Soon to be published on my blog and (maritime) website. A consequence is I'm considering a new painting/s of definitive a scene/s of the exploits of Henry Morgan.
