Love this. I especially love how he freely admits that he can’t always hold onto the bliss, but that’s he’s grateful for everything.

It takes a lot of guts to allow yourself to suffer....mot people don't care, and they are proud of living life not caring about the others. Jim is someone who cares, that's why he suffers so much. He truly cares. You are a special one, embrace the pain, you're living to the fullest

This feeling is true. I have experienced it. Its amazing but it doesn't last so long. It stays around 5-10 seconds. The world feels like home. You are the Universe. Question is how can we get this feeling. Answer is: Meditation. Believe me just meditate every night before sleeping and within a week or two you definitely will experience this feeling which Jim is talking about. Also read "the power of now by Eckhart Tolle" you will begin to know and feel that whatever jim is saying in not because of the drugs. Its the very reality we are unaware of.

Petrok Stir No. I have reached the same mental state, if not higher. Through meditation alone. Actually it wasn't even meditation. It just suddenly happened in some random night, while taking a shower. Drugs offer wisdom to people who can't understand it. God offers it to those who are ready to receive it. If you are ready to observe the Truth, you will naturally do so. If you are not, you will need a drug to sell you a half picture of it.

All spirituality is about relieving suffering, what a gift you are to give a moment of happiness to someone who is suffering and how magically your own suffering seems so trivial and fades away...life is these moments.

what’s crazy is, jim carey is quite literally one of realities one-off wild cards - something we all wish we had the sheer brilliance of, the genius of. through the lense of what he talks about, he is to any fan (small or big) a unique gift from reality that has made millions of people around the world cry with laughter. without characters like this, life would be a lot less interesting. all through his hardwork, dedication, skill and a spark of madness. and yet even he struggles to get back to that place anyone can visit. quite telling of the human experience in it’s self when even seemingly those most in touch don’t have easier access.

When I found Echart Tolle and awoke after some reading and finaly found the present, everything changed. My perspective, my different roles, I love life in such a different way now ... peace and love to you Jim Carrey.

I had a similar epiphany upon waking the other day during the night, it was like I suddenly was fully aware of the truth and also knew without question that life in some way did go on after death. At that moment I was 100% certain, I even said it to myself aloud, nearly waking up the baby in the process. Then I went back to sleep and woke up filled with doubt once again. Such a shame, I wish I could have kept hold of that feeling and I do hope it comes back to me again! 🙏

The idea that you are not your thoughts, that you are the you, that thinks them, meaning one should not identify so strongly with the thoughts, that come in to your mind, is a powerful and liberating idea for sure. Thoughts come and go, and you, are the arbiter of them. You decide which thoughts to entertain or focus on.

It's hard to be in perfect synchronicity but I believe in you. It's like in your movie - you have the divine spark to bring happiness and an honest perspective to things. A celebrity waking up and showing that to the world... wonderful! Since so many people look up to celebrities, it's good to see ones who are role models for something good. After a long path of coming back to myself, I now am blessed to experience this beautiful awareness and expansive feeling more and more. These are ancient teachings being brought to the light again by various people around the world. I feel blessed to be living in these times.

I watched this video the first day I quit weed (I used to smoke 12 grams every 3 days from depression) and I woke up with a very strong "need" to smoke to feel better (You feel like shit for a bit after quiting). This video is the reason I didn't and the reason I even exist right now. When Jim's not putting a smile on my face with his shenanigans, he's putting it on my face with his words. It's all in the mind :)

There are more and more people like Jim, understanding this and it gives so much hope! One of us! Good intentions are important for the entire species in general. We have incredible value and we can accomplish more than we think, starting with the small things, over time we will evolve, the direction "to what we will evolve to" relies on us. Now. And it begins with a thought. Exactly like this one.

And now we do the best we can to remain there as long as possible... We're blessed though... Its becoming easier... What a sweet man. Liked his work since he was on In Living Color, and REALLY liked is work on Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Saw Man On the Moon after this as I was heartbroken after the death of Andy Kaufman and didn't want to mentally deal with all that again at the end of the film so it was a while before I felt I could deal with it. Carrey was born to play that role and was brilliant, and it was a perfect tribute and memorial to a very special and very silly human. Carrey's a wonderful communicator so this was good to hear. ❤☮🌎

fan Jim Carrey and now am inspired by his attitude towards spiritual enlightenment. really like the way eckhart explains the simple writings of Jesus..like take no thought for the morrow.living in the now is a really powerful experience once youv'e understood and quickened to the human spirit..don't need to smoke pot if your living in the now..that is sort of what some lightweight drugs do to the mind so why take drugs when you can achieve the same effect through entering in the present moment

Real life Jim Carrey: Humble, dorkable and very open with his depression. In his movies: Over the top, always plays the loser who becomes a hero, does funny faces, and really talkative. I always have to laugh that Ariana Grande has a massive crush on Jim Carrey. Me: Well Alrighty than My favourite comedic actor next to Robin Williams. Both Jim Carrey and Robin Williams are my comedic idols. Both are hilarious and whenever I'm in a bad mood or down i would watch Jim Carrey's old films e.g. Dumb and Dumber or Ace Ventura heck even The Mask was hilarious or a Robin Williams film e.g. Mrs Doubtfire.

To gain yourself means to lose yourself, and to lose yourself is to gain yourself. They both mean the same thing: you gain your true self by allowing yourself for the "other", and by losing yourself for the other, you gain your true self. Both describe the movement of self-emptying love for the other. Through this approach narcissistic self-love is overcome, death itself ceases to be of any consequence, and mortality, as the existential crisis, vanishes. This is no strange experience to many human beings. It is what defines true erotic love, parenthood, sacrifice and benevolence. Without humility all this is impossible. Narcissism is religion itself. Love and humility is not.

I was recently in a Middle Eastern country and asked an elderly man why he thought Islam was the fastest growing religion in the world. He said because at the core Islam is a very simple religion: each person has their own relationship to God, and that no matter how well you know an individual or how things appear on the outside, you can never know what another person's relationship to God is. So if you are a king, a beggar, a thief, an actor or a saint, all these titles or identities are surface details. The only one who knows the depth of your own soul and relationship with God or the universe or whatever else you want to call it is you and God.
